Breaking through the walls of traditional Hardcore music, Age-9 intends to revolutionize the scene with their massive and diverse musical background.
The founders of the band are still present and breaking new and uncharted frontiers ever so persistently. Included in this four piece are Dave Drescher (Guitar), Aaron Nieradka (Voacals), Sean Riley (Bass), and Tom Fitzgibbon (Drums). Shortly after their formation in 1992, Age-9 began a massive assault on the East Coast by taking over the Tri-State and Pennsylvania areas. Due to their innovative style of music and lightning quick blitzkrieg attack on the population, Age-9 surprised the North East in gaining such a huge fanbase in such a short amount of time.
The band has played at many popular clubs including the Limelight (NYC), and the historical Stone Pony (Asbury Park, NJ). Through the years Age-9 has had the opportunity to share the stage with such acts as Dog Eat Dog, Biohazard, H20, 108, Ignite, Deadguy, and Murphy's Law.
Soon after 1996, Age-9 was finally recognized for their ingenuity and hardwork throughout the Hardcore Scene ... they were accepted by the Resurrection A.D. Records family. Their debut CD LP was the talk of the scene on radio and in magazines.
